Monday babble
I am excited to be starting my first face-to-face bookclub. I chose The Hindi-Bindi Club by Monica Pradhan as the first book. I welcome any advice on how to run this since I am a newbie. Other than that, I am starting First Darling of the Morning: Selected Memories of an Indian Childhood by Thrity Umrigar. This is the only one of her's that I haven't read yet, and she never disappoints me.

How exciting! I hope your book club experience is a huge success, Christine. I've never been in a face-to-face book club, so I haven't any advice to offer other than have fun. :-)
Chris,
Oh...that sounds like so much fun...wish I were there. No advice as I've never participated, but I've always wanted to....of course, it always helps if one can read(wink).
Love ya,
Kare
Hey Karen! I miss talking to you! I wish you were close enough to join my group, even though you read much more intense stuff than I do.
Oh, but I would've learned to be much less intense, just for you...You know, even Koontz' books are getting a bit light(ok, maybe not the latest one..he).
Miss ya bunches,
Kare
